Thapathali campus, a major constituent campus of IOE, is successfully conducting Bachelor degree engineering programs in Industrial, Mechanical, Civil and Electronics faculties, besides the diploma level programs. Among Bachelor faculties, the Department of Industrial Engineering (DoIE) is the oldest one established in the year 2005 A.D. It is the only one of its kind in the entire country which has been producing Industry-ready technical human resource with sound managerial knowledge.
The course of Bachelor of Industrial Engineering provides almost 60% technical knowledge (80% of the mechanical engineering) and 40% management knowledge (covering 80% of MBA courses), especially focusing on the demand of Nepalese industry and organizations.
